Natural Skinshop and BeautyStat gave me a chance to review the Alpha Beta Daily Exfoliator Kit. I have been using this system for the last two weeks and I love it!
The kit includes a Glycolic Cleanser, Salicylic 2% Daily Exfoliator, Glycolic 10% Daily Exfoliator, 100% Pure Hyaluronic Moisturizer and Gauze pads. The cleanser is used first, with only a dime size in the palm of your hand and lather onto your face. I had to use about a nickel size because I could not seem to cover my face with the small amount recommended. The cleanser smells good and leaves skin feeling smooth and fresh. The Glycolic cleanser has Green Tea antioxidants, Aloe nutrient extracts and mild Alpha Hydroxy acids to exfoliate dead skin cells and promote rejuvenated skin.
Next, I used the Glycolic Exfoliator. Using a gauze pad, I sprayed two times and then applied to skin in circular motion. I let it sit for about 3 minutes then rinsed. This exfoliator is for removing dead skin cells and maintain results of skin peels. It made my skin glow. I had little to no irritation.
I used the Salicylic Exfoliator the day after using the Glycolic Exfoliator. The Salicylic solution is applied with a gauze pad and left on skin for up to 3 minutes, then rinsed. This exfoliator is great for dissolving oil and residue on the skin. I didn't like the smell but after putting the moisturizer on, I couldn't tell that I even used the exfoliator. I loved that my oily problem areas where gone.
The Hyaluronic Moisturizer is fantastic! I love the smell which is kind of minty and the creamy feel it leaves on my skin. With this moisturizer, a little bit goes a long way. I loved the cool tingle it gave after a skin peel.
